and run into the presence of an enchanted place
No living man
or creature was there to greet a passenger

Soon I peek over the wall
I could see its ruins and decay as the clouds moved away
Great was the misfortune
The smell of ancient stone and of battles long time lost

I stepped into the hall
As driven by a force I continued my path on
